Grechetto dei Colli Martani DOC, Grecante 2020

It was 1971 when Arnaldo Caprai, a great Umbrian wine entrepreneur, laid the foundations of this beautiful winery in Montefalco; now it is Marco, his son, who for more than a quarter of a century has been carrying on his work worthily, through research activities, with experiments in the agronomic and oenological field, continuing to spread the tradition of the territory, enhancing and preserving the vines typical. Grechetto is one of these: autochthonous Umbrian white berried grape, vinified both alone and blended with other local grapes such as Trebbiano and Fiano, gives rise to delicate but particular wines, with typical aromatic scents and a fragrant gustatory expression .

Golden straw yellow, it has an intense aroma of white melon, sage, jasmine and white peach, wrapped in chalky mineral nuances. On the palate it arrives warm and soft, but immediately balanced by acidity and flavor. Mineral persistence.

Try it with cheeses aged in vine leaves, with legume soups, with potato gateâu and with delicate white meats.
